Niles: Dear God, Frasier, we’ve stumbled upon Hell’s waiting room.
Frasier: This is not a moment for the faint of heart! We are treading a thin line here, Niles. We’ve got to find something that compliments my decor as well as fulfills Dad’s requirements. Oh, dear God! [They stop near an atrociously patterned chair.] Can you imagine anyone who would have something like that in their living room?
Niles: It looks like someone upholstered it in golf pants!

I want the chair I was in all those nights when your mother used to wake me up with a kiss after I’d fallen asleep in front of the television. Y’know, I still fall asleep in it. And every once in a while, when I wake up, I still expect your mother to be there, ready to lead me off to bed… Oh, never mind. It’s only a chair.”

Daphne: Still looking for that TV Guide?
Martin: Yeah, it’s the damnedest thing… what are you still doing up? Where’s Donnie?
Daphne: He’s on the phone with my folks. He really is wonderful, Mr. Crane.
Martin: Very happy for you, Daph.
[Daphne starts to look under the ottoman.]
Daphne: Oh my God. I just had that vision again. Only this time… well, that’s a bit scary… my mystery man is standing with some sort of dragon.
Martin: A dragon?
Daphne: Yes. That makes no sense! That must be what Dr. Crane said. These visions are about my fears. Imagine spending the rest of my life looking for some poor bloke with a dragon.
[They laugh.]

[Niles is in his apartment getting ready for bed. He sees the gift Roz got him sitting in its bag still and opens it.]
Niles: Oh, Roz…
[He takes the gift out of the box. It is a sculpture of a black dragon. The scene fades out.]

Martin: No, he has worms.

Frasier: Dad, I can’t read my paper. Eddie’s staring at me.
Martin: Well, you do make quite a picture in the morning. Just ignore him.
Frasier: I’m trying to!
Martin: I’m talking to the dog.

Frasier: I thought that Eddie had been fixed.
Martin: Hey, all you had to do was look.
Frasier: I’m proud to say I’ve never been that bored.

You know what, while we’re letting that cool, why don’t we find a home for our… antique. [He picks up Mr. Bottomsley and starts to pet him.] There we are, yes, now. [He moves to the mirror, still petting the cat.] You know, you don’t find one of these very easily. Especially in such good condition. Won’t that covetous Niles be mad when he sees this, hmm? But he can’t have it, can he, nooo. Yes, he can’t have it, can he, no, no… [in horror] Dear God, I’m Aunt Shirley!
